 FAIR PAY PROJECT

The FAIR PAY PROJECT is a member driven project that promotes:

  1. Organisation, promotion, negotiation, and creation of Fair Pay Agreements and minimum standards in your industry.

  2. Organisation, promotion, negotiation and establishment of legally compliant Site Agreements.

This can be achieved through bringing together workers and unions together.

Working for Workers members are usually joined up with their relevant sector union upon request.

If you want to know more, feel free to get in touch.

At Working for Workers, our team is dedicated to addressing the source of the inequality in power in employment relationships which is the primary contributor to the problems that workers experience every day.

  1. Is your wage not keeping up with the true cost of living?

  2. Is it a struggle to survive?

  3. Ever wonder if there is a better solution than going cap in hand to the boss for the annual increase?

Well good news!

There are up coming changes in employment legislation that will change the landscape of employment forever and it is in your intertest to understand these changes as they will have an effect on your income and work life balance.

AS OF MAY 1 2022 THERE WILL BE THREE TYPES OF WORKERS

  1. Workers whose terms and conditions of employment are decided by them with their input into the terms and conditions of a fair pay agreement or workplace collective agreement.

  2. Workers whose terms and conditions of employment are not decided by them as these workers actively chose to not engage with the process which lead to the change of terms and conditions of a fair pay agreement or workplace collective agreement.

  3. A left behind group of workers whose employers still continue to dictate the terms and conditions of their employment because these workers were unaware and remain on an individual employment agreement.

If you are not in a fair pay agreement or collective agreement come the 1st of May 2022 others may be deciding the your terms and conditions of employment AND your the conditions and treatment of workers in your industry.

Don't let others decide this on your behalf! Join the project today to fight for a better tomorrow.
